My home counselling room is based in Biggleswade, Central Bedfordshire. Here, we work face-to-face in a safe, comfortable environment.  

Whilst some clients prefer to work in a space that’s away from their home, I also recognise that others may prefer a blended approach, with a mix of online and in-person therapy. I am always happy to work flexibly with what suits your needs.

Integrative Counselling brings together elements of different approaches to counselling and counselling theory. I use psychodynamic, person-centred and existential approaches to counselling. I adapt my therapy to suit the personal, social and spiritual needs of my client. 

Your counsellor should offer you a non-judgemental and supportive relationship, enabling you to explore your issues in a confidential, secure environment.  A counsellor should display the following qualities: Candour, Care, Courage, Diligence, Empathy, Fairness, Humility, Identity, Integrity, Resilience, Respect, Sincerity, Wisdom.

Your counsellor should be consistent and boundaried in a professional, yet caring relationship.

A counselling session is typically 50 minutes long.
